Where did the Rental Studio Facility at 675 go?

Nowhere! It's right where we left it! LOL :)

OK, so you want more detail. Here goes:

"The facility we built out at 675 in 2005 was great fun. One of the largest private photography studios in Atlanta, it boasted over 5000sft of creamy wholesome goodness and creative space. And we looked upon it, and it was good. We had parties, shot videos, hosted celebrities and celebrity photographers, taught classes, and hosted megashoots. And it was still good. But then after a while, it became less of an inspiration, and more like actual work. Which is just like fun, but the opposite. There were renters, equipment damage, scheduling, insurance, maintenance, cleaning, painting, painting, painting... blah blah blah. Required attention. Had demands. I work how and when I want to (because I can), and being 'in the studio business' was becoming an increasing distraction from expressing and crafting my personal art. And I'm not about to hire someone else to do things I am perfectly capable of doing, in a space I designed and was backing. So after much 'kvetching' to friends over the latter part of 2007 about it, and missing out on some other fun things out of the country that I wanted to partake in that inspire me, I resolved that in 2008 I would phase the studio facility out and get back to what I enjoyed most which was the art and the adventure of my photography. With my new focus and plans, I wouldn't be around to use the space myself but a few times in the year So... When '08 rolled around I offered to roll a few other local photographers into the spot I was no longer motivated to keep, but no one seemed up to the apparently daunting task of managing and running such an enterprise, and in early March I moved the equipment to a new location, let the space go, and began my new travel plans for this year. So there you have it... more fun for me, but no more toybox at 675 to share with you. I'm sure that someone will pick it up shortly, and if you ask them real nice, they may share their toys with you. I will be cavorting around the globe with friends and a select handful of very talented models this year, so look for new material in the next few months... this will also free up some time for me to work on the website too and maybe it won't be such a yawnfest. ;-)"

Cheers,
Keith Seraphim
